Fiona has worked in Higher Education since 2010 at UCT Graduate School of Business as Career Services Coordinator assisting international students who wanted to remain in South Africa with visa matters. She later joined the UCT International Office in 2019 and currently is the Visa and Immigration Liaison Coordinator.

Dr Bianca Rochelle Parry has been a lecturer at the Department of Psychology at the University of South Africa since 2016. Currently, she is conducting research as a Postdoctoral Fellow of the Chief Albert Luthuli Research Chair, for which she was awarded a research grant from the National Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Ms Itumeleng Masisi is a lecturer and Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Psychology at the University of South Africa. Her research interests include the experiences of motherhood, adverse childhood experiences and intergenerational trauma. Her interests also include aspects of education and teaching and learning. Janice Moodley (PhD) is a psychological practitioner and senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of South Africa. Her research is critically orientated and challenges the discursive interactions between psychology, health, gender, racial inequalities and politics within the global South.

Fazela Haniff immigrated to Canada in 1974 from Guyana, lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for three years, then relocaated to South Africa from 1994 to 2012 and returned to Canada in 2012.
